Live the Language

Dreaming of trips abroad requires the need for inspiration and it doesn't come much better than these.

The combination of luscious imagery courtesy of cinematographer Niklas Johansson, type from Barcelona base designer and art director Albin Holmqvist - set by Director Gustav Johansson to match the quivering handheld camera work adds to the romanticism of these crazy beautiful videos.

Considering that they were developed for language-teaching company EF, these Live the Language videos are a beautiful composite of the awe, the joy, the terror and uncertainty of learning about and living in a new city.

Watch Paris, London, Beijing and Barcelona and dream. I want them frame by frame, Polaroid set, hanging from my wall to remind me that happiness can be as simple as opening your eyes and arms to let experiences in.

"T"shirts

The words character, and body are often used to describe typography. But also used to describe the human body. So it's no wonder that this brilliant t'shirt collection - T'Shirt - by Masashi Kawamura was born.

Consisting of 5 t'thirst inspired by the famous typeface silhouettes of Helvetica, Caslon, Baskerville, Courier, and Cooper Black, all of the tshirts are unique, just like the people that wear them.

T'shirts will be available from No Control Air in January 2011. Email info@nocontrolair.com or mercyk1015@gmail.com for pricing and details.

yummy

honey. Beautiful packaging from Ah&Oh Studio, Poland (ul. Kochanowskiego 19/8, 60-846 POZNAN POLAND E: hello@ahandoh.com). So simple and obvious, the gorgeous logo includes a smiling bees face and the hand calligraphed logo is soften and inviting.

Freelancers, who joined forces after finishing studies at the Academy of Fine Arts (Poznan), Magda Katek and Kamil Jerzkowshi built little Ah&Oh Studios in 2008. Located in Jazyce (somewhere very East) the two use an ultimate heart melting aim and apply it to all of their projects. Mainly dealing with graphic design, identity, branding and packaging, the team manage work that is incredibly beautiful but practical. And brief answering.

They have a blog which might need some check back (being under construction and all) but I'm excited to keep an eye open on these two.

Helvetica Man

Funny and too cute. Which one are you? As always - I love Helvetica. Which makes me think - next party I might just make every boy a Helvetica Boy... and take my magic Helvetica pen for a little party trip. Zexy.

For those that haven't seen this magic pen, its an AD's dream. Hold it just right, and you're fontagogo.
